3D printed wagon kits
This selection of LNWR wagon kits have a 3D printed body including buffer beams and solebars. These are printed for us by Meon Valley Models to an incredibly high quality with prototypical thickness sides. The kit is supplied with our own W-Iron system allowing for sprung, compensated or rigid chassis. Brakes buffers etc are also supplied as are pin point bearings wire etc.

Diagram 1. Single plank wagon 15ft 6in length. The length was increased to 16ft in 1889. By 1904 there were 20,000. To begin with single wooden brakes were fitted but later iron single brake were used, very few ever received double brakes. Only six survived to the LMS period, they were a mix of lengths. £21.00

Diagram 2. two plank wagon 15ft 6in length. These wagons were built to 15ft 6in and 16ft lengths, with a total of 14,000 built. Brakes were initially single shoe wooden at first but later iron. Very few ever received double brakes. 453 survived to become LMS wagons, with a mixture of the two lengths. £21.00

Diagram 3, 2 plank drop side wagon 15ft 6in length. Diagram 3 wagons were built with fall or drop sided doors, it is unknown how many there were, initially 15ft 6in later 16ft lengths. They were unusual in they had square ends to the buffer beam to act as a stop to the drop sides, so the brake lever had to be cranked down to clear the end of the headstocks. 70 wagons survived to become LMS vehicles £21.00

Diagram 4, four plank wagon 16ft length. This type were built in large quantities (15,000) and served as general merchandise wagons. Built from 1894 the length was 16ft, fitted with a single iron brake very few were ever fitted with double sided brakes. A total of 3,601 became LMS property in 1923. £21.00

Diagram 53, Traffic coal wagon 15ft 6in length. built to a length of 15ft and 15ft 6in. Introduced in 1882, 6,845 were built in total. most of which were single braked, although some did receive double brakes, and unusually were fitted with a curved brake lever rather than the usual cranked lever. TBA

Diagram 64, Loco coal wagon 15ft 6in length. 10 ton loco coal wagons, originally built to a length of 15ft 6in later 16ft, 3,020 built in total. Originally fitted with toggle or Vee brakes on one side only, some were later fitted with double brakes. Many lasted into the LMS period with 125 still in use in 1937. TBA
